About Peacocks

 

Our mission is what drives us to do everything we can to share the highest quality product with our customers. We do this by sourcing and roasting specialty grade coffee only, purely chosen by the incredible flavor profile showcased in the cup.

Coffee can be graded as a Speciality only when it meets specific standards such as belonging to the Arabica species, low to none presence of defects in the raw product, and scoring above 80 points on SCAA cupping form judged by Q-Graders.

We roast our coffees in order to highlight acidity, sweetness, and origin character.
We guarantee a traceable and sustainable product, with often great stories of positive impact on the communities, producers and importers we work with.

Peacocks Coffee is based in Lissone, Monza e Brianza, Italy.

Matteo Pavoni


 

2012

Left Italy for a work experience in London. Never thought to end up finding the world of coffee so interesting to become his main passion. Stayed in the UK for a total of 5 years during which he was able to learn from the best in the industry and become a coffee master.

2015-2016

A short but intense experience back in Milan during Expo 2015. Here he manages Taglio Coffee Shop at Mercato Metropolitano, training the whole team, serving great coffees and roasting the single-origins provided by Taf Coffee of Athens.
Went back to the UK at the end of the project.

2018

Returns back to Italy where he together with his brother Riccardo starts Peacocks Coffee.

2022

1st place Italian Barista Championship

Riccardo Pavoni


 

2008

He graduated in Digital Communication at the University of Milan, where he specialized in digital issues, web technology, and graphics.

2012

Decides to change his working life mired in IT, flying to London to attend where he attends a full immersion course in 3D graphics and VFX at Escape Studios. Among the streets of London, he becomes passionate about photography with his first camera reflex, a Nikon D3200. In the meantime, he is blown away by the world of specialty coffee as well as his brother Matteo.

2018

One fine day he woke up with the name "Peacocks" in his head. Taken from the combination of the London experience and the brothers’ surname Pavoni in English! Just in time to start their specialty coffee roastery adventure.
